How a Termite Warranty Works
Treatment, then the termite warranty — re-treatment coverage backed in writing.
A termite bond doesn't keep termites out on its own. It's the renewable termite warranty that sits on top of an active treatment — either Sentricon® baiting or a liquid termiticide barrier — and commits us in writing to come back out and re-treat if activity is detected. Here's how it actually works at a Northern Virginia home.
Step 1: termite treatment is in place
Either Sentricon® baiting (active stations on the perimeter) or a liquid pre/post-construction treatment within its active window. Without active treatment, there's no termite warranty to issue — the bond backs the treatment, it doesn't replace it.
Step 2: the termite warranty is issued
Once the treatment is in place, we issue a written re-treatment warranty backed by the bond. If termite activity is detected during the active coverage period, we come back out and re-treat at no additional charge to you. The warranty document is yours to keep, hand to a buyer at closing, or show a lender.
Step 3: annual inspection + renewal
Every year the home is inspected and the warranty is renewed. Skip the inspection or let the renewal lapse and coverage drops off — keep the cadence and the termite warranty stays in force year after year for as long as you own the home.

A termite bond is a renewable termite warranty issued by a licensed pest control company that backs an existing termite treatment. It commits us in writing to come back out and re-treat at no additional charge if termite activity is detected during the active coverage period. Bonds are inspected and renewed annually. They're how Alexandria and Northern Virginia homeowners turn a one-time termite treatment into ongoing, documented coverage you can show a buyer or lender.
Do you offer damage-repair coverage on your termite warranties?

No — our termite warranties are re-treatment warranties. If termite activity is detected during the active coverage period, we come back out and re-treat the home at no additional charge to you. We do not offer a damage-repair tier that covers structural repair costs. The combination of an active treatment (Sentricon® or liquid termiticide), an annual inspection, and a re-treatment warranty is what most Northern Virginia homeowners use to manage termite risk on their property.
Can I get a termite warranty if I've never had a termite treatment?

No — a termite warranty can only be issued on a home with a current termite treatment in place. The bond backs the treatment; without active protection there's nothing to warranty. The good news: we can quote both together. A Sentricon® installation or a liquid post-construction treatment paired with the renewable termite warranty is a common starting point for homeowners who want full coverage from day one.
