Better Termite & Pest Control, a family-owned, third-generation business, is proud to support local students pursuing higher education. Education has played a transformative role in our own family's success and business growth. As first-generation college graduates ourselves, we understand the opportunities education creates and want to extend that support to students in our community who share our passion for making a positive impact.

We aim to empower students who demonstrate ambition and a commitment to their local communities by pursuing degrees in marketing, business, or communications. Through this scholarship, we hope to reduce financial barriers and enable students to achieve their educational and career goals.

Selection Process

Applicants will be evaluated primarily on the quality and impact of their essays, emphasizing personal reflection, clarity, originality, and the potential community impact of their chosen field of study.

Eligibility Requirements

Academic Status

High school seniors, college freshmen, or sophomores enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited college or university.

Field of Study

Marketing, business, or communications

Academic Achievement

Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

Essay Requirement

Must submit a 500-750 word essay on a topic related to the following prompt: Education can profoundly shape our lives and the communities we serve. Share a personal story or family experience illustrating how education has influenced you. Additionally, discuss how your degree in marketing, business, or communications will enable you to positively impact your local community.

Documentation

Must provide proof of enrollment and an academic transcript.

    Funds will be paid directly as a check to you with your sign off that they will be used for academic purposes
