How do you treat for yellowjackets, wasps, and hornets? +
Our approach depends on the species and the location of the nest. For ground-nesting yellowjackets and hornets, we apply a residual insecticide to the nest entrance and surrounding soil, sometimes using insecticidal dust for deeper penetration. For aerial nests, such as those built by paper wasps or bald-faced hornets, we apply a residual insecticide directly to the nest using a sprayer or aerosol product. In cases where yellowjackets and hornets are nesting in wall voids, we use insecticidal dust or foam to reach the colony. Carpenter bees require a different approach—our technicians inject a residual insecticide or dust into their nest holes and seal them afterward.

No. Honeybees are protected and beneficial pollinators. If you have a honeybee issue, we recommend reaching out to a local beekeeper or bee removal specialist who can safely relocate them.
