Mosquitoes are more than just an annoyance—they turn your yard into a battleground every summer. The constant buzzing, the itchy bites, and the frustration of swatting them away make it hard to enjoy your own outdoor space. Worse yet, mosquitoes aren’t just a nuisance; they carry diseases like West Nile Virus and Zika that put your family at risk.
Bug sprays wear off in hours. Citronella candles barely make a difference. Cheap hardware store treatments kill some mosquitoes, but they don’t stop them from coming back. Standing water on your property acts as a breeding ground, meaning even a small puddle can turn into a mosquito factory. If you’ve tried to handle mosquitoes on your own, you know how frustrating it is when they just keep coming back no matter what you do.
We faced this problem firsthand in our swampy Alexandria backyard—mosquitoes so thick you couldn’t step outside without getting swarmed. Our kids couldn’t play outside, and even the dog seemed miserable. We tried everything: DIY treatments, bug zappers, citronella—none of it worked. Finally, we dug into the research, tested different treatments on our own yard, and found the perfect balance of effectiveness and responsibility. LawnShield and IN2Care weren’t just solutions for our customers—they were the answer to making our own backyard livable again.
Mosquitoes thrive from early spring through late fall, and one-time treatments won’t keep them away. That’s why our LawnShield program provides nine strategically timed services per year, targeting mosquitoes when they’re most active.
LawnShield takes the guesswork out of mosquito control. Our team automatically schedules and applies treatments so you don’t have to think about it. Using a combination of backpack mist applications, insect growth regulators, and granular treatments, we reduce mosquito populations fast and keep them down all season long. It’s the exact treatment that finally gave us our backyard back.
Want effective mosquito control without traditional sprays? Our IN2Care system uses a completely different approach—turning mosquitoes against themselves.
We know that some families want to avoid traditional spraying, whether it’s for the sake of pollinators, gardens, or personal preference. But most non-spray solutions just don’t work—they’re too weak to make a real impact. We tested every alternative we could find, and IN2Care was the only one that worked the way we needed it to.
Our IN2Care system uses specially designed mosquito traps that lure mosquitoes in, infect them with a fungus, and let them spread it to other mosquitoes—killing off the population from the inside out. This eco-friendly, no-spray approach is perfect for homeowners who want results without traditional misting. Plus, with monthly maintenance, we ensure the system is always working at peak effectiveness. It’s what we use in our own backyard, and it made a world of difference.
Our treatments for mosquitoes and ticks are tailored to hit them where they live and breed. For mosquitoes, we use a combination of a backpack mist blower to target shaded areas where mosquitoes rest, along with an adulticide mixed with an Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) to reduce mosquito populations by over 50% within 24 hours. We also perform granular applications to low, water-retaining areas to control larvae.
For ticks, our approach is seasonal. We apply granular treatments in the spring and fall to reduce tick populations at their highest activity points. During the rest of the season, we focus on barrier treatments in the ecotone—the area where your lawn meets wooded or overgrown areas—to keep ticks from entering your yard.

The IN2Care system is an eco-friendly, no-spray mosquito control solution. We install mosquito traps that attract mosquitoes and infect them with a slow-acting larvicide. The mosquitoes then carry the larvicide to other breeding sites, disrupting the mosquito lifecycle. This method significantly reduces mosquito populations without the need for traditional sprays.
For our traditional mosquito and tick programs, we perform regular treatments from March to November. The IN2Care program involves monthly visits from April to October for trap maintenance.
Our programs include unlimited free callbacks between scheduled visits. If you notice an increase in activity, just give us a call, and we'll come out to re-treat at no additional cost.
Yes! Since IN2Care does not involve traditional spraying, it’s a great option for homeowners with vegetable gardens and flower beds.
Our technicians are trained to avoid spraying blooming flowers, fruits, and vegetables to minimize impact on pollinators. If you're especially concerned, we recommend the IN2Care system as a non-spray alternative.
No treatment can guarantee 100% elimination, but our programs are designed to provide significant reduction. We also encourage customers to take additional steps like removing standing water and keeping lawns well-maintained to reduce breeding grounds.
